Ben Farmer, a Virginia State Police Trooper and Pilot from the 114th class, passed away in his home on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
He had worked for the organization for a considerable amount of time. It is requested that you keep the Farmer family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
During this trying time, we ask that you remember his wife, children, other family members, friends, and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers, as well as the community at large. Because of the good influence that Trooper/Pilot Ben Farmer had, working with him was an absolute pleasure. Ben was absolutely exceptional at what he did in his line of work. As you continue on this leg of your journey, I pray that you be showered with good fortune and endowed with the capacity to soar through the air like an eagle. I wish these things for you. You are in no way, shape, or form going to be overlooked or disregarded under any circumstances!
