Although most of his wealth has come from his musical career, as his former band sold more than 20 million album copies worldwide; he is now earning money thanks to his acting talents.
Creed Bratton Net Worth $3 million
Creed Bratton grew up in a small town near the Yosemite National Park. His parents and grandparents were musicians, and he formed an interest in music from the early age, getting his first guitar at the age of 13, and becoming a professional musician in high school. Creed went to the College of the Sequoias and Sacramento State College with a major in drama.
The first musical experience as a professional came in his twenties with the band called The Young Californians. They were traveling through Europe, and during that trip, William decided to change his name to Creed. Guitarist Warren Entner noticed Creed’s talent and invited him to form a band together. In 1966, The Grass Roots were created, andsoon the band’s recognition was evident, with hits like “Let’s Live for Today”, and “Midnight Confessions”, cementing The Grass Roots place at the top of rock music. The fact that they sold over 20 million records worldwide helped Creed to expand his wealth which was measured in millions of dollars.
However, in 1969 Creed Bratton had a feud with the Dunhill record company about the writing credits. The company was reluctant to allow band members to write songs, and after an awful performance at the Filmore West in April, Creed was asked to leave the band.
He left music for more than thirty years to become an actor, and didn’t released a solo album until 2001. In 2001 and 2002 he recorded three albums; the debut was “Chasing the Ball”, with “The 80’s”, and “Coarsegold” following soon after. The reception among the critics wasn’t good, unlike the 60’s with The Grass Roots, but sold albums certainly improved his net worth. In 2008, Creed released another album called “Creed Bratton”. “Bounce Back” in 2010, and “Demo” in 2011 were his most recent releases.
Meantime Creed Bratton pursued his acting career, and in 1979 got parts in movies such as “Heart Like A Wheel” (1983) and “Mask” (1985). Throughout the 1980s, he appeared in such productions as “U.S. Marshals: Waco & Rhinehart” (1987), and “Seven Hours to Judgment” (1988), among others. During the 1990s, he couldn`t score any major parts, but in the 2000s his career reached a whole new level when he became a cast member of the Emmy and SAG award winning series “The Office” (2005-2013). The popularity and ratings of the show certainly more funds to Creed’s bank account. To speak further of his accomplishments as an actor, Creed has also appeared in such films and TV series as “Terri” (2011), “The Ghastly Love of Johnny X” (2012), “Band Of Robbers” (2015), and “Sound of Magic” (2015), among others, all of which have added to his net worth.
When it comes to Creed Bratton`s personal life, he was married to Josephine Fitzpatrick from 1967 to 1974. His second wife is Claudia Anderson, and the couple is still together after forty years of marriage. They currently live in Los Angeles.

1 | I did a lot of acid, and I paid good money for that acid. I should have a flashback. I deserve one, but no. I feel kind of cheated. A lot of people keep saying, "I got these great flashbacks." Give me some flashbacks. |
