While at home with his girlfriend, Sharna Burgess, and their 3-month-old son Zane Walker, Brian Austin Green is in a state of utter infant bliss.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the 49-year-old actor discusses the first few months of his family’s life with their son and explains why, as a father of five, he is committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Green is a partner with Depend for their Stand Strong For Men’s Health project.
Zane is Burgess’s first child and the actor’s sixth son overall; he also has three older boys, Journey River, 6, Bodhi Ransom, 8, and Noah Shannon, 9, from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Megan Fox, and a younger son, Kassius, 20, from his relationship with Vanessa Marcil.
What a fantastic guy. You can’t find anyone better than him. According to Green, infant Zane sleeps like a rock. The boy is a sweetheart and not a fussy one. All of my children are such a gift to me. They’re incredible people in general, and he hasn’t let them down at all.
Mr. Green also shared that his young sons are doting on their newborn siblings. How nicely anything like this will turn out is impossible to predict beforehand. Adding another child to the family is a big decision, and you never know if there will be pushback, he says. There has been no opposition at all, and instead, it has been warmly welcomed.
This is Green’s second child but Burgess’s first child. She is so enamored with motherhood; it is inspiring to see, as Green puts it. To see a mother who truly appreciates and embraces her role as a parent is inspiring.

He continues, “I’m really happy to have her as a part of my life; she’s an incredible person.” She’s a godsend, and I adore her; the kids adore her, and Zane adores her; our home is a gush of affection.
