Jana Kramer is hitting the gym – and showing off her post-preggers body with her fiancé. In a new social media post the country singer and actress shows off her amazing body in workout shirts and a tank while breaking a sweat with Allan Russell at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico. "Workout with @superiorstriker," she captioned the post. How does the mother-of-three maintain her amazing body? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jana previously told Celebwell that she exercises not only to look good, but because it helps her sleep. "If I don't work out or go for a run that day, it will absolutely impact how I sleep," she revealed. "After the kids are at school is when I will work out or go for a run." She generally hits the pavement 4-5 times a week. The Mayo Clinic explains that running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Jana maintains a healthy diet. "Your body needs good fuel and energy to get you to the end of the day and if I don't prioritize that, I definitely feel it at night," she says.

Jana has been "hyper-focused on gut health recently," she tells us. One major adjustment she made? "I've been cutting back on cheese which has been very hard."

As can be evidenced by her recent post, Jana weight lifts. "I like to do a few days of strength training," she says. How often should you lift weights? Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, per the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans

Jana's go-to forms of self-care? "I love a good bath, reading, or journaling," she says. Baths can help improve sleep and even minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Jana hydrates."I drink about a gallon of water a day," she says. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Jana makes sure to get enough sleep. "For me it's to put the kiddo's down, finish up any work and then a nice cup of tea. If my mind is racing and it's a busy time, I take my Unisom Simple Slumbers to help me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer in order to wake up feeling refreshed!" she reveals. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.
