Miley Cyrus is the cover girl for the August issues of Elle US and her fans are thrilled. Miley wore a gold Celine outfit on the cover and looked gorgeous. She’s grown her hair out and wears bangs, highlighting her big, blue eyes. Though Miley might bear a resemblance to the Hannah Montan character she spent her childhood playing, make no mistake about it. Miley Cyrus is all grown up. She’s married, in charge of her sexuality, and has put childish things behind her.
As a performer and an artist, Miley has reached a pinnacle of success many only can only dream of obtaining.
Mario Sorrenti shot the cover photo that saw Miley styled by George Cortina and wearing designers such as Celine, Gucci, and Richard Quinn.
Bob Recine styled Miley’s hair for the shoot that consisted of plenty of free-flowing, long waves that perfectly framed her face. Miley’s hair is a golden wheat color that complemented her natural beauty that celebrity makeup artist James Kaliardos enhanced.

Miley spoke to Elle US editor-in-chief Nina Garcia and discussed several topics at length. Nina asked Miley what advice she would give to her 16-year-0ld former self. Miley responded with the following.
“I think to be more aware of the people you surround yourself with. I always hated when my parents said ‘you are who your friends are’ because I always thought I was strong enough to hold onto my own individuality but you do morph into the people that you surround yourself with. When people tell you ‘no’ or when people tell you-you’re wrong, don’t run from those people because they’re the true ones.”

Miley also opened up a bit about her marriage and said that it was very unconventional. She said that though Liam Hemsworth is her partner and who she made a lifelong commitment to, she is still attracted to girls. Miley explained that she is not your “stereotypical wife.”
