For one who made her debut in the entertainment industry a little over a decade ago, Stephanie Tyler Jones has achieved quite some remarkable feats, with many more to come going forward. One of these, which notably increased the fame she acquired from starring in Justin Beiber’s 2011 song Mistletoe, was none other than her getting cast in the Spider-Man game series by Insomniac Games as the face of Mary Jane Watson.
However, this increased fame also took a toll on the actress’ personal life. It also seemingly compromised her security, according to the message Stephanie Tyler Jones penned down to share how unsafe she has been feeling lately because of some creepy and obsessed stalkers.

Stephanie Tyler Jones may be one of the most applauded up-and-coming forces in the entertainment field, but some of her fans from this fame have been taking it to extremes just to get in touch with her.
As the actress recently revealed through her Instagram handle (@stephtyler_), some of her followers have been attempting to cross her personal boundaries lately.
Addressing her “Spider-Man fans”, she revealed how one of her fans “even went to the extent of calling my workplace and leaving multiple voicemails wanting to speak with me and requesting I call back.”
Since these are indeed some rather unacceptable deeds and the signs of creepy stalkers, Tyler Jones couldn’t help but feel scared of her security. Clearing out that her “skincare page is not for Spider-Man or MJ fans,” she concluded:
“Bottom line is that I came into work this morning and immediately felt unsafe and uncomfortable hearing those voicemails. Please respect that I am a human being trying to make a living just like you, and I kindly ask for boundaries to not be crossed.”
Continuing, she also mentioned that she would answer no messages from all these stalkers and overly obsessive fans, adding that she would “block” anyone who makes her feel “uncomfortable” and that her fans can “unfollow me if this disappoints you.”
While her taking a stand for herself is commendable, Stephanie Tyler Jones’ fans need to take this warning into serious consideration unless they wish their favorite icon to end up taking legal action against them as a security measure.

Stephanie Tyler Jones May No Longer Reprise Her Role In Spider-Man Games
Besides warning her over-obsessive fans and stalkers, Stephanie Tyler Jones also mentioned something that might directly hint at bad news for Mary Jane Watson’s fans in the Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man game series.
Although the character was voiced by Laura Bailey, the face that MJ carried throughout Marvel’s Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2 PS5 game series was none other than that of Jones. But her statement on IG hinted that fans might no longer see her face in the upcoming games. She wrote:
“Dear Spider-Man fans,
I appreciate the love for my role in the Spider-Man games and the positive response to my version of MJ has gotten over the years. However, I am no longer an actively auditioning actor or model. The shoots I do now are purely a creative outlet for myself and a way to collaborate with friends I love.”
As can be deciphered from her mentioning that she is “no longer an actively auditioning actor or model,” Stephanie Tyler Jones might not be giving her face for MJ for future Marvel Spider-Man game projects, even more so because of her commitment to her other projects.
However, nothing can be said for sure as of now until an official statement from the higher-ups at Marvel and Insomniac Games gets released.
